Place and Date of the conference

Trinity College, Dublin, has been so kind to offer us a three rooms  free of charge through their Trinity Long Room Hub facility: A plenary room (Neill Lecture Theatre - 98 seater theatre), a coffee room (Hoey Ideas Space - 60 persons) and a workshop room (Galbraith Seminar/Board Room - 15 persons). See plan of Trinity campus.

See more pictures of the Trinity Long Room Hub by clicking here.

Date of the conference: Thursday 20 + Friday 21 October 2016 for the conference itself, plus Saturday 22 October 2016 for a sightseeing walk (Trinity College and Dublin locations related to Bram Stoker). This way, we stay clear of Halloween, when many US participants may want to be at home to celebrate. The weekend 29 + 30 October will also be the date of the Dublin Bram Stoker Festival, when many people will come to town and hotel prices may be significantly higher.

Flights, accomodation

A we have no outside sponsoring so far, all participants are kindly requested to book their own flights and accomodation, using the well-known flight search engines and hotel booking platforms such as www.booking.com, or other websites you may prefer. As of today (16 Sept. 2016), priceworthy flights and accomodation are still available. Dublin is no low-cost city, alas, so that regular hotels in the 3*** category are not cheap; for adventurous travellers, hostels with multi-bed-rooms and bunk beds can be booked.
